Halmat Faraidon (Heresh)
Managing Director
Halmat co-founded CYN in 2012 after dedicating years of work with youth in the most vulnerable areas of Copenhagen. He holds a BsC in International Hospitality Management, one in Business Administration, as well as a MA in Public Administration.Working with the strategic mission of CYN, networking with partners and key organizations across countries, developing relevant and inspiring content for projects as well as facilitating them are what Halmat is committed to.His areas of compassion for projects, cover social and intercultural topics, along with an interest for mental and physical health.
Marc Wacker
Special Adviser regarding organizational development
Marc’s journey in CYN began in 2012 as co-founder and project manager. He holds a MA in Intercultural Communication from Roskilde University. His specialties are strategic -and project management. Marc is specifically passionate about climate, animal rights and gender equality.
Hana Faridoon Kousted
Project Manager
Hana holds a Master’s degree in Operations and Innovation Management as well as a Bachelor degree within Global Business Engineering. With years of Project Management and having certifications like PRINCE2, Scrum and Agility, her contributions to CYN include project managing and supporting the management team, defining what brings value to the organization. Moreover, she is interested in mental, physical health and sustainable living methods.

Mette Seier Helms
Social Worker
Mette joined CYN in 2016 and her role has been to counsel and train in group processes. She is graduate with a MA in English & Religion from University of Copenhagen. Her areas of expertise are counseling, facilitating group processes, communications, leadership development, conflict management. Moreover, she is a trained group analyst and organizational psychology consultant.
Louise Bang
Social Worker
Louise has a bachelor’s degree in social work, and she is experienced in working with vulnerable and traumatized people. Furthermore, she uses her background as a social worker in the Red Cross, where she has been a volunteer since 2012. There she has multiple roles, one is supporting abused women and helping them increase their level of empowerment. She is also organizing activities for the women and their children. In CYN Louise’s experiences, knowledge and educational background plays an essential role in term of social matters, especially in context to methods, safety, and security, when we are hosting and facilitating projects.
Brian Løkke Brøndahl
Development Manager
Brian have been a key member of the management team at CYN since its inception in 2012. His expertise in both cultural and financial matters on a global scale is highly valued and has contributed significantly to the growth and success of CYN. He plays an essential role in the ongoing development of CYN, and his contributions are likely appreciated by partners and targets. His experience in IT development and logistics is also for sure helpful in understanding the broader context of CYN’s operations and identifying areas for improvement.

In 2019 Rachid was onboarded to coordinate legal and compliance projects. He recently graduated in law from the University of Southern Denmark. Areas of interest are sports, human rights and mental health.

At University of Copenhagen Regitze is studying Ethnology and Intercultural business communication. Regitze is a curious extrovert who is passionate about mental and physical health as well as intercultural meetings. She has a background as morning host at the radio station ANR in North Jutland but today lives in Copenhagen where she is a part of Copenhagen Youth Network.

Marco León Badillo
Project Coordinator,
Marco holds a BSc in Medical Engineering. Marco assumed the role as project coordinator in 2022. He has lived and worked in five countries, which inspired him to bring cultural awareness to everyone. He has know-how in organizing and facilitating workshops and intercultural exchanges in three different languages. He has worked as a volunteer in three countries with young people between 13-24 with topics ranging from education and organization to sustainability and technology.
